General Description

An aluminium alloyed, basic electrode recommended for production and maintenance applications including the repair of cracks, casting defects and building up sections and broken parts, also suitable for overlaying applications.

It is specially designed for welding of wrought and cast aluminium alloys, mainly of the half silumin and silumin type, containing up to 12% silicon, like; G-AISI8Cu3, G-AlSi10Mg, G-AISi12. It should not be used with aluminium magnesium alloys like; AlMg2, AIMg3, AIMg5. In case of necessity, it can be applied with oxy-acetylene flame.
